Turn The Key

Dammit.  I really like the latest Black Keys album Brothers and believe me I really really tried not to.  I resisted when music gurus, people I respect, told me it was good. I simply nodded and thought, "Uh huh, no way brother."  Don't ask me why.  It's just stupid stubborn contrariness for no reason.  Well, I suppose there is a reason but it's even more idiotic than the contrariness.  It's the same reason I refuse to listen to the new Arcade Fire album and the same reason I refused to listen to Bjork's album Medulla for over a year, and I adore Bjork.  That started to change when Evie put Everlasting Light on a mix for me and then I had no choice.  Totally hooked.

Now I have to eat crow and say all sorts of lovely things.  But what can I say boys?  I guess I was just too pig-headed to love you.  Badum ching.
