I recently had to make a mix cd for a swap. I say had because it felt like a labor and I procrastinated for weeks before even beginning the project. In fact the last possible day to send it is Monday and I still haven't technically burned, packaged it and sent it off to its new owner.
Shameful, I know.
Summer is a weird time for me musically, it's so hot I want to listen to skuzzy, sleazy, thump thump grunge and pop but sometimes that just pisses me off. Turns out it's the simple tunes that can be the next best thing to icy water.
